TT star takes to the roads with Kawasaki

Holding a special place in the hearts of all motorcyclists, the Isle of Man now has a brand new Kawasaki road motorcycle dealer.

A visitor to the TT podium no less than thirteen times, Jason Griffiths is already a familiar figure on the two-wheeled scene on Mona's Isle having previously secured the Kawasaki Team Green off-road moto-cross and enduro franchise for his smart Castletown store.

Originally from Wales, forty year old Ramsey resident Griffiths long ago made the island his home along with his Manx born wife, Helen, and their four children.

"Everyone knows that, for TT fortnight, the island takes to two wheels and celebrates all that is best about biking", commented Griffiths'. "That said, the other fifty weeks are pretty busy too such is the enthusiasm for motorcycles within the local community".

Trading in his own right from the totally renovated and updated Alexandra Road site since 2007, Griffiths and his five strong team see the Kawasaki franchise as a logical step and regard the latest range of machines as integral to their mid to long term growth ambitions, as Jason explains.

"Kawasaki has made great strides as a brand in the past few years. The new big bikes like the Ninja ZX-10R now sit in the range alongside well received machines such as the Z1000SX which has all the style of a supersport bike but a more relaxed riding position.

We think the 2011 range is the best yet from Kawasaki. We are especially enthused about the entry level bikes like the ER-6n, KLX250 and the two 125cc machines.

With these we will appeal across the age range of riders, introduce young people to the joys of two wheeled transport and, if we have our approach right, welcome more women riders to the Kawasaki brand. We'll certainly play our part in making sure the good times keep rolling for Kawasaki on the Isle of Man".
