The final line up of Kawasaki racing stars has just been confirmed for the April 9 Kawasaki public test ride event centred on Silverstone's Stowe Circuit complex.
Adding a further element of interest to a day which kicks off the annual "On the Road" tour, the Kawasaki Superbike stars will be around during the day to talk to the public, pose for pictures, sign autographs and generally spread the lime green message.
Heading up the British Superbike contingent will be MSS Colchester Kawasaki riders Stuart Easton and Gary Mason, both eager to talk about testing the new Ninja ZX-10R race bike in Spain and recently at Cadwell Park. Joining them will be fans favourite, Chris Walker, who returns to the Team Green fold this year riding a Pr1mo racing Ninja for the local Northamptonshire based team.
From the exotic World Superbike paddock, Tom Sykes will attend the Silverstone event and is sure to want to share his experiences from the first two WSB rounds, including his magnificent front row qualifying achievement at Donington Park.
Alongside the track stars, the huge fleet of demo bikes available for FREE road riding sessions taking place on the stunning country roads around the Silverstone circuit are already proving popular with those who have wisely chosen to pre register
their details on the Kawasaki Riders Club website avoiding time consuming form filling on the day.
And with all rides on the extensive Kawasaki test ride fleet on a "first-come-first-served" basis, there will be maximum riding time and minimum waiting time according to Michael Johnstone, Sales and Marketing Manager of Kawasaki Motors UK.
"When people arrive on 9 April they will see a real cross-section of the Kawasaki range ready to be ridden. The entry level Ninja 250R, ER-6n and ER-6f bikes will be available along with the Versys which simply has to be ridden to be appreciated. We've also got bikes like the Ninja ZX-6R and stunning new Ninja ZX-10R as test ride bikes and the much talked about Z1000SX plus the already hugely popular W800 retro bike. Add bikes like the VN1700 and I think everyone would agree there is something for everyone to try".
Along with the promised FREE test rides, there is something happening all day around the Stowe circuit with stunt superstar Craig Jones and his skills academy plus track action courtesy of Focused Events, Kawasaki's experienced track day partner.
Owners can bring their own Kawasaki along and, for just £25, can have two 15 minute track sessions during a fun packed day. Alternatively, Focused Events have their own fleet of Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R track bikes that can be used for some enjoyable track time.
"With a mixture of riding opportunities, racer appearances and action throughout the day, Silverstone on 9 April looks set to be a festival of all things Kawasaki", concluded Michael Johnstone. "We hope that anyone with an interest in motorcycling comes along to see and try what Kawasaki has to offer."
